Being in the broadcasting business, I've considered myself to have a discerning ear and have gone to great lengths to acoustically treat our studio environments. However, my discovery of the Acoustics and audio hi fi gallery treatment has really opened my ears to the dramatic difference that paying attention to the finite details of the room environment can make. Truly a world of difference. I am very impressed.
Acoustics and audio hi fi gallery in audio is mainly subjective rather than objective. It involves psychoacoustics that relates to our emotional perception of sound (music). Resolution Acoustics surely is superior in this field. No matter the specifications of a high-end audio system (objective) the emotion that this system conveys will determine our satisfaction (subjective) with such system. I can spend hours listening to music, the walls in the room disappear and I can reach that nirvana in music which can only be experience... but not defined.
